In recent years, South Africa wines have rightly become world famous for their exceptional quality and value. The Cape Winelands day tour takes you to some of the finest vineyards of South Africa, on a journey through stunningly scenic landscapes.
Just an hour’s travelling time out of Cape Town, we will pass through the wine regions of Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch.
Deep within the Cape Winelands is Paarl, the third-oldest town in South Africa, lying in a beautiful valley between the Drakenstein Mountains and Paarl Mountain. With its attractive Cape Dutch homes, famous vineyards and imposing mountain range, Paarl is a must-see on any visitor’s itinerary.
Nestled between towering mountains in the beautiful Cape Winelands lies the magnificent Franschhoek Valley. This is the food and wine heartland of the country, where splendid wines are grown and paired with exquisite menus.
Stellenbosch is internationally renowned for its oak tree-lined streets and picture-postcard whitewashed buildings, many of Cape Dutch origin, and of course its beautiful vineyards.
Our Cape Winelands tour takes us through all three of these stunning areas and we enjoy a wine-tasting at a top wine estate and a tour of Stellenbosch.
