3-day Uluru holiday extension from only £1,795pp
Uluru is one of Australia’s most famous landmarks and a site of deep cultural significance to the Aboriginal communities of the Northern Territory. Why not extend your holiday with a trip into the outback to explore this ancient monolith?
This holiday extension is available to add to our Australia’s East Coast Jewels tour.
Below we detail how your Australia’s East Coast Jewels tour will conclude when you add on our 3-day Uluru extension, taking your 27-day tour to a 30-day tour.
Tour Highlight
Following breakfast, we make our way to Brisbane Airport in time for our flight to Australia’s Red Centre. Dating back some 300 million years, we may have the opportunity to catch our first glimpse of Uluru from our aircraft as we make our approach. Later, we travel to Uluru and enjoy a glass of sparkling wine whilst witnessing the changing colours as the sun begins to set. Our accommodation for the next two nights is the four-star Desert Gardens Hotel.
Included meals: Breakfast
Uluru is the icon of Australia’s outback, and the world’s largest monolith. For early risers, a dawn visit to the rock has been arranged. Seeing Uluru at sunrise, offers a totally new perspective on the ever-changing colours and character of the rock. After breakfast, we take a short walk at the base of Uluru and explore the Cultural Centre, where we learn about traditional Aboriginal life. Our afternoon and evening are left free to relax or enjoy an optional activity such as dinner and drinks under the stars at the Sounds of Silence evening or a walk through the Field of Light.
Included meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, we leave for a tour of Kata Tjuta, also known as the Olgas, a series of rounded sandstone domes which also have great significance to the indigenous population. Following a wonderful two days, we bid farewell to Australia’s red centre and board our afternoon flight to Brisbane. We stay overnight at the centrally-located Stamford Plaza Hotel.
Included meals: Breakfast
All good things must come to an end, and this morning we transfer to Brisbane Airport. Our flights with Singapore Airlines will travel via Singapore.
